Art lovers in Manila, we’ve got something exciting to look forward to this weekend: Art in the Park 2016 is coming to town this Sunday, April 3!

An affordable local art fair now on its 10th year, this much-awaited event is held every year in Jaime Velasquez park in Salcedo Village, Makati.
Marco and I had a blast at last year’s event! It was a (warm) afternoon of art appreciation, knick knacks, summer food, and more art appreciation. I’m really looking forward to going inspiration hunting and maybe even buying a piece or two this time around.
For those going for the first time this Sunday, setting out early in the morning will give you a better chance at finding a parking space not too far from the park. But going in the late afternoon/early evening to avoid the heat isn’t such a bad idea either. Dress comfy and anticipate the crowd of artists/art buyers/hipsters who will be there as well to see art and be art. #ThereISaidIt #haha

It’s bold, but one of my goals is to have some of my artworks sold at this fair next year. Fingers crossed!!!
See you there!
Bea
